Gurdwara Miri Piri in Deanside needed sound that could be controlled differently across different areas of the building — not one volume level for the whole site.
Different areas of the gurdwara needed different audio treatment — the main hall needs full volume during services, while adjoining areas need a lower, more comfortable level. A single-zone sound system couldn't do this without someone manually adjusting individual speakers by hand.
The brief was a proper AV system with independent volume control per zone, set once and left alone rather than adjusted manually every service.
We installed a full AV system built around a Yamaha TF rack mixer, feeding Yamaha speakers across multiple zones, each with its own volume control. Whoever's running sound on the day can set the main hall at full volume for kirtan while keeping adjoining areas at a comfortable background level, without touching a single speaker.
Full AV setup completed with the mixer configured and every zone tested independently before handover, with the gurdwara's own team walked through day-to-day operation.
Sound that fits the room it's playing in, not one volume for the whole building — set once by whoever's running the desk, without needing an audio engineer on-site every week.
Zone-controlled audio, set once and run without an engineer on-site.
